Shachindra Nath
FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Shachindra Nath is the Founder and Managing Director of Poshika Financial Ecosystem (P) Limited and the Vice Chairman
& Managing Director of UGRO Capital Limited, a DataTech-led small business lending platform listed on NSE and BSE under
the ticker UGROCAP.
With over three decades of experience in Indian financial services, Mr. Nath has been instrumental in building insurance
companies, large asset management businesses, capital market firms and lending institutions. He has forged successful
joint ventures and partnerships and established multiple new business verticals across the sector.
In 2018, Shachindra Nath acquired Chokhani Securities and transformed it into UGRO Capital Limited. Within four months, UGRO raised nearly INR 950 crore, becoming India’s first listed startup NBFC. Today, it operates 300+ branches across 14 states, serving MSMEs through a technology-driven lending platform.
His career has spanned insurance, asset management, capital markets, and lending — providing him with a rare and
comprehensive operator’s perspective across the Indian financial ecosystem.
Mr. Nath is a qualified lawyer and a University Rank Holder from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is also an
alumnus of the YPO CEO Academy.

Dr. Shruti Nath
CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Dr. Shruti Nath is Co-Founder & Director of Poshika Financial Ecosystem (P) Limited, where she leads the Multi-Family
Office practice and provides strategic oversight across the firm’s long-term growth and philanthropic initiatives.
Dr. Nath holds a Doctorate in English Literature from Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi, and pursued a distinguished academic
career as a Professor of English at Sushant University, Gurgaon, until 2019. In 2016, she made the transition from academia
to entrepreneurship, co-founding Poshika alongside Shachindra Nath and simultaneously co-founded Qwazent Talent
Solutions, a tech-enabled executive search firm focused exclusively on the healthcare sector.
Dr. Nath is the Founding Director & Mentor at Qwazent, where she built strong healthcare talent and executive search capabilities. She guided the company’s growth, earned Top 50 Healthcare Company recognition in 2018, and led a strategic exit in 2023. At Poshika, she drives human capital strategy and institutional values.
In addition to her professional endeavours, Dr. Nath is the founder of Peeli Kothi Greens, a four-acre chemical-free organic
farm in Faridabad that she has developed from scratch, reflecting her commitment to sustainable living. She holds a
Certificate in Organic Farming from the Indira Gandhi National Open University.
